Bio

Rashmi Jolly is a global innovation leader dedicated to advancing products and solutions that foster better health, wealth, and human connections. Guided by the principles of empowerment, inclusivity, and empathy, she drives forward sustainable progress through deep problem-solving, cross-cultural collaboration, and a future-forward vision for a more hopeful, enriched global future. Currently, she serves as an independent consultant for healthcare and finance startups and is an Expert Associate Partner in Innovation and Design at Bain & Company, where she advises clients on human-centric product design, customer experience strategies, corporate innovation, and new venture creation.
As the immigrant daughter of Indian parents in America, Rashmi grew up attuned to cultural nuances. She observed how individuals from diverse backgrounds navigated between their values, beliefs, and the shared elements of the human experience. Inspired to shed light on these common threads, she pursued international journalism, studying at Johns Hopkins University before earning her master's at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. It was during this time that she realized the profound impact of people’s perceptions—particularly how they shape global power and economic flows.
Never content to merely observe, Rashmi sought to challenge biases and address the systemic problems they create. Believing that while capital markets are a significant driver of global inequity, they also hold the greatest potential for change, she immersed herself in international finance at Goldman Sachs, taking on a role that allowed
her to fund growing biotech and technology companies. However, with deep family roots in healthcare and a personal passion for women’s health, she eventually transitioned into the business world to help deserving companies grow and secure vital investments.
Since then, she’s built more than two decades of experience in finance, operations, communications, and leadership to champion health and wealth for people around the world. Her career has included building over seven fertility startups, launching social egg freezing across the UK, Australia, and APAC, and writing editorials on politics, aging, and family life, which highlighted inequities in health and finance in Shanghai and Singapore. She has also collaborated with Mastercard to promote financial inclusion globally, and she has helped businesses localize and innovate digital payments and healthcare products from Dubai to Australia and across Asia Pacific.
Through her extensive work and travel, and having lived in cities like New York, Bali, Barcelona, Singapore, London, Shanghai, Dubai, and Zurich, Rashmi has gained a profound understanding of the world’s interconnectedness. Her approach to innovation is rooted in empowering emotional experiences with a human-centric, rather than problem-centric, mindset. Whether through new products, services, customer experiences, or creative writing, her focus is always on creating solutions that improve the human experience in meaningful, universal and positive ways.
Beyond her professional achievements, Rashmi is a proud mother of two beautiful children, who inspire her to continue building a better, more inclusive future for the next generation.
